LIST 2015-16 Fall-Winter Collection is the perfect mix between the bon ton tradition and Asian avant-garde, where peonies and bamboo - typically related to the East culture - become sometimes "optical" on crêpe fabric, and sometimes "electric" on more fluid and transparent material. The classic combination of Paris-style black and white, inherited from Mademoiselle Chanel, becomes tinged with bright colors such as cornflower blue and "azalea" shades of pink, which reminds of the neon lights of a futuristic city like Shanghai.
This is the world of the Boutique Collection, which features collarless and ample coats reminding of those typical of the 1950s, or "micro-Chanel" ones with jewel-like buttons similar to military tailcoats and deconstructed jackets, made of technical fabrics and with fur effect. Skirts are flared or clinging and sensual; dresses fit all silhouettes, ranging from the A-shaped day ones to those characterized by the overlapping of layers which, as petals in contrast, cover the essential lines of the loose-fitting garments. The Collection also feature "Red Carpet" gowns: asymmetric long satin and jersey dresses with moulage effects, typical of French couture, with plunging necklines framed by jewel-like edges. Shirts and blouses are always chic and sexy, featuring soft and light fabrics and see-through effects combined with palazzo pants with pleats, cigarette pants or pants made of technical fabrics embellished with lurex edges. To complete the look the collection features the classic Paris bi-colour shoes, alternating - for the most glamorous outfits – with patent-leather or suede high heels and thigh-high boots.
LIST embodies women in all their attitudes and personalities, to the point of creating the next season collection with multiple and multi-faceted styles which, as to the ready-to-wear fashion segment, is epitomized by the iconic Urban-Rock style of the brand, matched by two other styles: the Folk-Chic and the Glamour-Iced. In the Urban-Rock style we find again the Paris flavour of Coco Chanel’s black and white heritage in the classic jackets enriched with jewel-like buttons, in jersey sheath dresses and in bouclé oversized coats, embellished with design stitching, buttons, frogs and decorative clasps. The original inspiration can also be found in the soft shirts and blouses, as well as in the warm cashmere pants and knitwear coloured with new shades such as yellow. The Paris mood of the former style is replaced by the rebel mood of the 1970s in the latter, in which fringes, camel shades - combined with green and rust brown – dominate, together with prints and many accessories based on the same theme. There is a flourishing of cabans, as well as stitched and close-fitting coats, blouses printed with naturalistic motifs and bell-bottom pants. The pattern is broken by the Glamour-Iced, a romantic style tinged with metameric colours, in which dove grey and icy hues meet the azalea shades of pink. Slit dresses, quilted jackets and coats with refined collars, triple crêpe coats, shirts mixed with georgette or embellished with pearl embroidery and tulle micro-flounces. Ottoman stitches characterize smaller pieces, cape coats and romantic and feminine shrug wraps.
Starting for Fall Winter 2015-2016, LIST launches its new Private Collection, namely its line of quick-response fashion. After over twenty years of ready-to-wear fashion collections, which will keep on being the company’s major activity and strength, LIST is embarking on a new adventure by presenting its 2015-16 Fall-Winter collection at the Premium International Fashion Trade Show scheduled in Berlin on January 19-21, 2015. “This collection is the result of a project we have long been developing”, both entrepreneurs said. “We believe that the creative effort underlying it has been the most genuine and forceful effort in recent times”. In fact, the novelty of the the new collection lies mainly in the lines, cuts and models which, though following the world that LIST has been until now, show a new and dynamic style, ready to compete with the great ready-to-wear fashion. The years between the 1960s and 1970s are the great source of inspiration which have prompted this new collection, having an urban-chic flavour, in which women choose the clean lines of a suede longuette skirt, combined with a soft silk shirt, or in which a knitted wool sweater complements the look of a tulle pleated skirt.
The colours chosen are warm, even though these are creations for the fall-winter collection, and alternate ebony with metameric "warm" icy colours, interrupted by male-style herringbone blanket wool and more romantic and feminine forest prints. The materials are mainly (triple and double) crêpe and wool, but combined with satin, jersey, jeans treated with coatings making it similar to nappa leather, mixed cashmere, suede and scuba technical fabrics mainly used for soft bell-shaped printed dresses. The cuts, which are clean and extremely feminine in their simplicity, are reflected in tulip-shaped skirts, French-style long pants, short and oversized pulls, and a series of very elegant and comfortable outerwear ranging from coats, picot jackets, bolero jackets, shoulder shrugs, cape coats enriched by refined fur collars or stone and crystal embroidery.
